Choose sounds for clarity
Use sounds that cut through your monitoring mix without being harsh. Short sounds are easier to recognize and less likely to stack during busy moments.
Keep files stable
Store alert sounds in a stable local folder. Avoid removable drives or cloud-only files that might not be available during a live session.
Test each event type
After changing a sound, trigger the relevant test event. Confirm the sound plays locally and appears correctly in your production audio path.
Recovery
If a sound fails, switch back to a known-good file, restart Konduit, and retest before the next session.
